Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Signal Deck and its underlying API (together, the "Service"). By accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides model-generated stock-related outputs (probabilities, predicted returns, rankings, and related metadata) and market/reference data sourced from third-party providers. The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only. See the Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you are issued an API key, you are responsible for keeping it confidential and for all activity conducted using it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw market or reference data obtained through the Service to any third party as a standalone data feed;
Use the Service to build a competing prediction or data product without authorization;
Circumvent rate limits, scrape the Service outside the documented API, or attempt to reverse-engineer the underlying models;
Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including securities laws;
Represent Service outputs as your own original research, financial advice, or as guaranteed/verified investment performance.

4. Third-Party Data

Underlying market and reference data is licensed or obtained from third-party providers and is subject to those providers' own terms. The Service does not warrant your right to any particular redistribution or commercial use of that underlying data beyond what is expressly provided through the Service's API for your own internal use. You may not use the Service to circumvent restrictions imposed by upstream data providers.

5. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PREDICTION OR OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for suspected violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
